Local Business Website Redesign

In a web design class, we were assigned to go out and find a local business in SLO that was in need of a website redesign. I chose Black Horse Coffee, a popular coffee shop with four locations in the area. This new design is more modern and has a clean design that easily allows users to navigate and locate the information they need.

The Finished Site
The process started with grid diagraming
Next, I designed a new logo that fit with the overall feel of my site
I then proceeded to design comps in InDesign from my grid diagrams to explore possible layouts for the site
After settling on a design, I used tracing paper to map out my plan for beginning to code
And then I began to build my code!
After several class critiques and much refining, here is my final website:
