Senior Project: App Redesign

For my senior project, I chose to rebrand and prototype an iOS app originally created by my dad, a software engineer, several years ago. The app is a contact manager that allows the user to import large batches of contacts, in the form of .csv files, without having to manually input each contact or mixing them with personal contact on their phone. The app also features the ability to sort both imported contacts and those from the phone into groups, or "circles." I learned so much about what it takes to design a mobile app and about mobile design. In the future, I would like to conduct more user testing on my design and ultimately implement it into a functioning app.

I started the process with first researching best practices and then renaming the app to "Circles" and designing the icon and splash screens
I then began the process of planning the architecture of the new app
Once I had an idea of the basic architecture of the app, I began wire-framing
Next, I combined by graphic design with my wire-framing and began creating a prototype in Adobe XD
After many hours of work, I had a functioning hi-fi prototype
In addition, I created a process book to document my project in detail
